Fall Colors with The Mint Julep Boutique

Fall is really here and I need to come to terms with it. As someone who would love a forever summer, Fall means it’s starting to get colder and will be getting colder for the next eight months here in Chicago! The silver lining is that Fall fashion is the best, I love sweaters and cardigans and jeans. And it encompasses all my favorite colors; browns, neutrals, golds, burgundys and oranges. A cardigan combined with these flare jeans makes for a casual but trendy look. These jeans are super comfortable because they are thinner material and come in a variety of denim colors. High waisted and slim through the thigh, they definitely make your legs look slimmer. As far as petite styling goes, they are long for my 5’3 frame. I had to get them hemmed and take a couple inches off. Or just wear four inch heels and call it a day! Shop this look below!

Next is possibly the coziest sweater ever made. It’s technically a dress but I tucked it in the the jeans to wear it as a sweater and sport an all black look. This turtleneck is fuzzy, soft and touchable. I paired with the black ripped jeans and my leopard print flats for a pop of color. I also like the sweater dress as it’s displayed on the model as a dress with a belt. All praise goes to the Mint Julep Boutique’s jean collection, both the pairs I got are some of the most comfortable I have ever worn. The best thing about these items is I could do some mixing and matching. I love the all black look with the cardigan and I paired the spotted top with jeans and a leather jacket to create a trendy going out look.
