Come Visit Hubbard Place with Me!
A couple weeks ago I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to stay at a lovely apartment complex downtown. Hubbard Place is located on Hubbard street in the River North neighborhood of Chicago. Ideally located, it’s close to nightlife, office buildings, the river and Mag Mile. It’s right across the street from Hampton Social, one of my favorite restaurants.
My friend and photographer, Katherine and I stayed in the guest suite for a night and got to experience Hubbard Place at it’s best. Follow along!
The apartment:
First and foremost we wanted to see the units. The one bedrooms are spacious with a big bedroom and bathroom and a walk in closet (a must have for me!) and nice granite countertops. If you like a kitchen where you can cook and easily entertain then this is the place for you. It’s hard to find a roomy 1-bedroom unit in Chicago that is also homey. I really liked the large windows with an almost panoramic view of the city and river, letting in plenty of light. The particular one we saw had a balcony as well. Right now is prime time for these units too as Hubbard Place is offering discounted rates on their units.
The amenities
The amenities and facilities at Hubbard Place are unparalleled. Entering into a grand lobby, the front desk attendees and door people are always nice, resourceful and helpful. Our entire stay, we were treated so well. Juan the building manager stays onsite and is super friendly. The building hosts a pool, gym, rooftop deck, sauna, hot tub, entertainment area, chef’s kitchen, pool tables, and more. There is plenty of space to relax with friends, work in the business center or hang out in the pool. All located on one floor, the amenities are spacious and expertly designed. See how we enjoyed our stay outside and inside!
The Rooftop
One of my favorite parts of Hubbard Place is the rooftop, now I’m a sucker for a good rooftop and I have been to many around the city. The one at Hubbard is HUGE with a full sized pool, a dining area and tables with heaters for those chilly nights. The pool area itself has these cute and comfy cabanas that are great for relaxation. We hit the pool at sunset, a beautiful time of day and were able to take some amazing shots pool side. A pool can really be the perfect way to top off a busy day.
