As a petite woman I am often in heels so I can at least pretend to be taller. During my work trip I was in the city attending an all company meeting and had a long day ahead. First, I had an early morning hair appointment then I commuted straight to the office. That meant I was going to be in my work clothes all day, moving around from conference to conference room. Even after hopping on the train, walking to the office and networking all day my feet still did not hurt. The day ended with a happy hour with coworkers and then off to dinner and drinks with the girls. I went back to the hotel and changed my outfit but kept the heels on. They took me from day to night—literally!
