Fall Chic with Boden

One of my all-time favorite fashion combos is skirt and a cozy sweater. It can be dressed down with some casual shoes or dressed up with a pair of heels. From work to cocktail hour to the weekend and everything in-between. For this winter look I am wearing all Boden items that were gifted. You can find the skirt here, sweater, dress, coat and booties. Boden is a new brand I discovered via collaboration, hailing from the UK they are all about creating fashionable clothes and never stinting on quality. I chose these items because I thought they would be versatile and I could mix and match.

I will say the skirt is a tad big for me around the waist, I am usually a size zero this skirt is listed as a size 2 but I could’ve taken an inch and a half off around the waist. The material feels silky and the fun pattern with British flags and horses added a uniqueness to the outfit. Tucked into the sweater, I made it work. The sweater is perfect for the holidays! I really liked the holiday feel the blues, reds and whites gave off when the outfit was pulled together. Paired with the booties it makes for a cute casual look.

The Fonteyn coat turned out to be my favorite item, this jacket is sturdy, structured and heavy enough to keep me warm through the Fall and into the winter months. It’s actually heavier than it looks and I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it on. It’s a semi fitted, which is good for wearing heavier sweaters underneath. On my 5’3 frame it hits about three inches below my knee. I liked the coat paired with the Nerissa Ponte dress the best. Not only does the purple belt add a pop of color and a cinched waist look but this dress is made of thick material and great for winter.

I am so glad I discovered Boden. Not only do they carry a petite collection which I am dying to try but, the clothing is high quality, well made and great for work. For the working woman that wants to have a classic vibe it’s not a brand to miss.
