Winter Weekend Neutrals
Marc Fisher has been a favorite shoe brand for a while and I wish I had bought these boots sooner. They are sturdy but light, great in the snow and super comfortable. Initially I was looking for a lighter tan pair, but I’m glad I got this darker brown color. My only qualm with them is that the laces are a little stiff and therefore hard to tie. I love the lace up look for my winter boots and the shearling not only adds a little warmth, but also makes them pop.
This winter I’m all about neutral colors, cream sweaters, light colored pants and tan coats. White is usually a color reserved for summer but I like wearing it all year round. I like this look because it’s comfortable and casual, but monochrome neutral colors always pulls an outfit together. This sweater from Rebecca Minkoff is one of my absolute favorites, it’s been on high rotation all fall and winter. I’m wearing it with these white jeans, and I also like wearing it with my favorite leather plants of the hour.
I discovered The Curated on Instagram and fell in love with their high quality staples, I’m wearing their classic camel coat. Here is a similar coat at a more affordable price. In terms of weight it’s a lighter winter coat, but that the fact that it’s a mixture of wool and cashmere still provides warmth during the colder months.
