The Leather Report

Springtime in Chicago is as unpredictable as ever. Maybe it will be warm, maybe we’ll have a ton of rain, or maybe it will snow in April you never know! I’ve been seeing leather everywhere this season, skirts, pants, shirts etc. One item I’ve been wearing on repeat this Spring is these faux leather tie waist pants. I have them in the tan color but I plan to get them in black and ivory as well. Here is a more affordable option from ASOS that are almost the same.

 Not only are they on trend but they are surprisingly versatile. I have worn them to work several times and then gone to a event after, just a quick switch from flats to heels and I am good to go! The tie waist is practical for smaller women like me, I can adjust it as needed.

I like to be prepared with my everyday outfits and one of my go to’s is a white shirt and neutral pants. I love this shirt from Keepsake for this time of year. It’s trendy and cute, great for the office in the Spring and Summer. I opted for a layered look with this tank from Urban Outfitters.

 Faux leather is quickly becoming one of my favorite Spring trends. Stay tuned for more looks!
